I design and build industry-transforming digital experiences and e-commerce sites. Along the way, I try to take pictures, write stories, backpack, design products, go fly fishing, and make sourdough bread.

I’m currently available for photography projects.

My Happy Place.

The Beartooth Mountains, where I can combine three of my passions. Backpacking, fly fishing and photography.

A story about The Beartooths

I started my career as a developer after studying computer science in college but switched to graphic design in the early part of my career, co-founding a design firm in Dallas in the early 90s. My design work has been published and recognized by Communication Arts, Graphis, the Art Directors Club of New York, the Dallas Society of Visual Communications, the AIGA, and many other leading graphic design publications and organizations.

After selling the design firm, I’ve focused on building transformational web and digital experiences. I built and led the teams that built Hotels.com into one of the world’s largest online travel brands. I led the integration of Ticketsnow to Ticketmaster and built the NFL TicketExchange, the official resale marketplace of the NFL. I led the team that built Gamestop’s digital platform, positioning the world’s largest brick and mortal games retailer to compete in an increasingly digital world. And my team built the global digital platform for Ralph Lauren, powering their e-commerce experience and in-store digital experiences around the world.

I live in East Austin, where I enjoy being able to walk to Lady Bird Johnson Lake, downtown and the amazing restaurants and bars in our neighborhood. Oh, and I get to live in a community with professors, designers, musicians, dancers and other fun people like my neighbors above.

Today, I’m helping build Goodkind, a digitally-enabled manufacturer of clean/natural beauty and personal care products. Meanwhile, I keep my creative brain happy by taking pictures and doing other creative projects with close friends and family.
