Good Neighbors

Iā€™m fortunate to live in the Holly neighborhood of east Austin, nestled between the lake and Cesar Chavez Street, only a couple of blocks from downtown. While the neighborhood has experienced gentrification over the past couple of decades, it seems to have struck the right balance of preserving the old and blending in the new. Multi-generational families are interspersed with professors, artists, writers, dancers, photographers and other interesting and amazing people. We had a block party the year before the pandemic and I thought the images really captured the feel of our friendly neighborhood.
